Danvers Idol

Date of Event: Preliminary Rounds are Wednesday, June 2, 2010 and Thursday, June 3, 2010. Finals: Thursday, July 1, 2010.

Due to the response, we have added an additional “Preliminary Round”, to be held Thursday, July 1st, at 5:00 at the in the multi-purpose room at the Holten Richmond Middle School. Same rules apply.

Time Of Event: 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Finals from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

Location: Preliminary rounds are at the DCAT office at 10 School Street in Danvers. Finals are in the multi-purpose room at the Holten Richmond Middle School on Conant Street in Danvers.

Description Of Event: Danvers Idol will let you showcase your talent! Preliminary tryouts will be filmed at DCAT over the course of a couple of evenings.Contestants must be age 16 or older. Auditions consist of singing without music (ie: A Cappella) for one minute. The finalists will compete on July 1st at the Holton-Richmond Middle School Multi-Purpose Room in Danvers. The winner of Danvers Idol will sing at the Danvers Fireworks on July 3rd before a crowd of forty thousand people. There will be other prizes as well.
